5th Avenue New York

Fifth Avenue is situated in the centre of the borough of Manhattan in New York City. The Avenue starts at Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village and runs in a northerly direction through the heart of Midtown along the eastern side of Central Park. It then becomes part of the boundary of the Upper East Side and ends at the Harlem River at 142nd. Street.

The Avenue has many spectacular and famous landmarks and is lined with luxury retail stores. It has some of the most expensive real estate in the United States.

A popular place for buying Real Estate in New York is Greenwich Village…

Greenwich Village in Lower Manhattan, was once known as the bohemian capitol, although these days are long gone, it is still home for many colorful artistic creative characters. A large majority of its residents is made up of upper middle class families. Many of the neighborhood’s narrow and curved streets are cobble stoned with lots of nooks and crannies. The layout of the village is haphazard and not like the grid plan layout of other New York City neighborhoods. Most of the apartments are in 19th. century houses and mid-rise buildings.

Apartments that come on to the market tend to be bought quickly, so prices in Greenwich are among the highest in Manhattan.
